Ongoing photo series documenting the life of my family in Guadalajara, México. They are part of the mass migration from the surrounding rural areas to the city due to the lack of demand in agriculture and trade. This shift in commerce largely a result of the North American Free Trade Agreement. Most people lack the resources to obtain technical or manufacture jobs. Despite what may seem a predetermined life of poverty residents of my hometown are filled with hope, ambition, and pride.
